Advertising for Profit

I've been doing a lot of research lately and it seems like a very good opportunity exists in the area of advertising. You can get paid for allowing others to advertise their sites or products on your website or blog. This seems easy enough. Very little if any cost for startup and the potential to earn increases with the amount of traffic that you generate and can drive to your site. It all comes down to having a good topic and relevant content. You must have a site that people are going to want to continue to visit. This means you must offer them something....guidance, information, a product, whatever it is you need to drive people to your site so they can visit your advertisers.

I'm still researching and trying to figure out the best way to get this started, but it seems that almost anything could potentially be of interest to people. I've started a number of blogs around subjects that are important to me. That way, it's easier for me to contribute content because the subjects are already things that I know. It's also much easier to continue to build the site if you are interested in contributing and making the site something that is more than a money generator. If you want people to continue to visit, it has to be something that they will find of interest.

Visit my links and you'll find all kinds of blogs relating to the different interests in my life. I've actually come up with a few more ideas that I want to incorporate. This obviously isn't a get rich quick scheme, but it's something that a busy mother can do in the evenings while the kids are asleep. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I'll keep you posting on my progress and any other ideas or projects I start.

Actually, I do have a couple of other things on the drawing board. I'll post about one of them in the next day or two.
